Before You Buy
Selecting a pool table requires little preparation.  Our pool table line is available in a variety of standard sizes to accommodate any room.  When determining the dimensions of your pool table, it is recommended that you allow ample room for movement (we suggest clearance on all sides of three to four feet). 

Pool Tables versus Billiard Tables
Billiard tables and the games played upon them originated from lawn games such as croquet, golf and bocce or lawn bowling.  Original billiards tables were twelve feet in length and had no pockets. In time, table games forced a change in design of billiards tables and “Pocket billiards”, which is now known as the game of pool, was born. Present day pool tables are shorter in length, seven to nine feet, and include six pockets.
